Global Game Jam
is a crazy hackaton that makes people develop awesome games based on a theme in 48 hours of no sleep, junk food and a lot of pressure.
and fun, of course!
This year's theme was
WAVES
it made us think about all the special occasions when you have all your relatives home and, after dinner, you just want to have some decent sleep and they keep talking and talking.
This is a way to send them away: just wave them off!
And now...the characters! :D
let's start with some ugly concept art.
There are four relatives, you and a WTF character that i did not use. Next time, maybe.
You.
Don't be fooled by the happy face, it's just a façade.
Your little cousin. She likes cats. And yelling. Sometimes, these two passions show at the same time. This evening is one of those occasions.
Your grandma. She likes to talk a lot. Especially when you want to sleep.
Your grandpa. You are not sure, but it's actually possible that he's been to prison.
Several times.
Your cool cousin. Does he even see something?
